As I worshipped and prayed, it felt like heaven opened up in my room. My entire room became filled with His glory and Holy Spirit became my best friend. Soon everywhere I went I was aware of His presence.
You can have this too!
One of the secrets I have discovered is soaking in His presence until heaven's atmosphere becomes my atmosphere. This is where the tangible glory gets upon your life, shifting atmosphere's everywhere you go. Even miracles will follow you!
It’s about soaking your spirit, soul, and body with God’s presence and His Word.
LET'S SEE HOW WORSHIP & SCRIPTURE IMPACT OUR HEALING, SPIRIT, SOUL AND BODY
1. God’s Presence Carries Healing
When you listen to worship music, your focus shifts from yourself to God. In Scripture, God’s presence is repeatedly connected with healing and restoration.
* “In Your presence is fullness of joy…” (Psalm 16:11) * “The power of the Lord was present to heal them.” (Luke 5:17)
Worship is not just music, it’s a doorway into the awareness of God’s presence. And His presence brings peace, and often, healing.
Here's a powerful example:
* When David played music, the tormenting spirit left Saul (1 Samuel 16:23). → That shows spiritual atmosphere can shift through worship.
What’s happening spiritually? You’re becoming more aware of God than of your symptoms.
2. God’s Word Carries Life and Healing Power
The Bible is very direct about this:
* “My son, pay attention to my words… they are life to those who find them and health to all their flesh.” (Proverbs 4:20–22)
Meditating on healing scriptures isn’t just positive thinking. It’s:
* Receiving truth * Replacing fear and doubt * Letting God’s perspective take root in you
Another key verse:
* “He sent His word and healed them.” (Psalm 107:20)
God’s Word is presented as a carrier of healing power.
3. Thinking on the Word Renews the Mind → Impacts the Body
Scripture teaches that transformation flows from the inside out:
* “Be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” (Romans 12:2)
When you meditate on healing scriptures:
* Fear decreases * Faith increases * Stress and anxiety drop
And while the Bible is spiritually focused, even modern science confirms:
* Chronic stress weakens the body * Peace and hope support healing processes
So spiritually and physically, alignment matters.
4. Faith Activates What God Has Promised
Jesus often said:
* “According to your faith let it be done to you.” (Matthew 9:29)
Meditating on healing scriptures builds faith, not hype, but confidence in God’s nature.
Faith does two things:
1. It positions you to receive 2. It keeps you from being double-minded (James 1:6–8)
You’re not trying to convince God. You’re coming into agreement with what He already said.
5. Worship + Word = Alignment of Your Whole Being
When you combine worship music with Scripture meditation, something powerful happens:
* Spirit → engages with God (worship) * Mind → is renewed (scripture) * Body → responds to the internal shift
This reflects the biblical truth of being whole:
* “May your whole spirit, soul, and body be kept blameless…” (1 Thessalonians 5:23)
Healing often flows through alignment with spiritual truth, not striving.
6. Peace Is a Gateway to Healing
Many people miss this, but it’s huge:
* “The mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace.” (Romans 8:6)
Worship and scripture meditation bring peace.
And peace:
* Calms the nervous system * Reduces internal stress signals * Creates an environment where healing can occur
In the Gospels, Jesus often restored people not just physically, but emotionally and spiritually too.
Putting It All Together
When you:
* Listen to worship music * Meditate on healing scriptures
You are:
* Entering God’s presence * Agreeing with His Word * Building faith * Releasing peace * Aligning your whole being
And in that environment, healing can flow, sometimes instantly, sometimes progressively.
Here's a Simple Way to Practice This
You might try something like this daily:
1. Put on worship music (soft, not distracting) 2. Slowly read healing scriptures (e.g., Isaiah 53:5, Psalm 103:2–3) 3. Personalize them: * “By His stripes, I am healed.” 4. Sit quietly and receive, don’t strive 5. Thank God for His presence and healing
